1.) Views on Bengal partition and swadeshi movement :- The extremists wanted to extend the Swadeshi and Boycott movement from Bengal to the rest of the country and extent boycott to every form of association with the colonial government. VS The moderates wanted to confine the Boycott movement to Bengal and even there to limit it to the boycott foreign goods. In 1905 , Gokhale, a moderate was president of congress and so, swadeshi movement was limited to Bengal and foreign goods 2.)
