PM launches Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana “Saubhagy

Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana –“Saubhagya” to ensure electrification of all willing households in the country in rural as well as urban areas here today.
The total outlay of the project is Rs. 16, 320 crore while the Gross Budgetary Support (GBS) is Rs. 12,320 crore.
Objective/ target: - The States and Union Territories are required to complete the works of household electrification by the 31st of December 2018.

Spending in 2017 (Rural ) - 1463.95
Spending in 2017 (Urban) - 89.38
Revised estimate 2018 (Rural ) - 2750.0
Revised estimate (urban ) - 119.35 ( Budget allocation in 2018 was 950 cr)
No budgetary allocation for 2019 as the 31st Dec 2018 was the target of the full universalization of the electrification.

Conclusion:-
Govt made headlines in 2017 by promising 12,350 crore while spend only 4424 Crore that is only 35% of the promise. This is less than passing marks of the college which is 40%.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today approved the flagship “Namami Gange” Program

Funding and objective - The program has a budget outlay of Rs. 20,000 crore for the next 5 years. This is a significant four-fold increase over the expenditure in the past 30 years (Government of India incurred an overall expenditure of approximately Rs. 4000 crore on this task since 1985). 

Fact check:-
Spending in 2015 - 100
Spending 2016-17 - 1675 (Allocation was 2500)
Spending in 2017-18- 700
Spending in 2018-19 - 750 (Allocation was 2300)
The budget for 2019 -20 - 750

Conclusion:-
Govt spend 3950  including a year of 2019. If we add up one more Rs.750 than it would be 4700 crores in 5 years. Govt received applause and headlines of Rs.20,000 crore while spending ( likely) to 5000 crore maximum that is 25% of the promised. Not the standard 8 students but it's a government of India need the no detention policy.

Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yoiana (PMKSY) 

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has given its approval to a new scheme the “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana” (PMKSY).

Target -   It will have an outlay of Rs. 50,000 crore over a period of five years (2015-16 to 2019-20). The allocation for the current financial year is Rs. 5300 crore.

Conclusion:- Govt. Promised to spend Rs.50,000 crore in a 5-year span that would be 10,000 per year. Got made impressive starting by spending 4700 crores in the first year but after the five years, Govt total spending remains nearly 13,800 crore which is 9% of the promised.
