Covishield for the month of May, June, and July

[It is also submitted that 100% advance of Rs. 1732.50 cr was released to Serum Institute of India (SII) for 11 crore doses of Covishield vaccine for the months of May, June, and July.]

It means per month manufacturing capacity of the SII was not more than 4 Cr doses. On 9th May 2021.

30 May 2021:- Prakash Kumar Singh, the Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs at SII letter to Amit Shah

[We are pleased to inform you that in the month of June we will be able to manufacture and supply nine to 10 crore doses of our Covishield vaccine to the the country as compared to our production capacity of 6.5 crore doses in May,", Prakash Kumar Singh said in the letter.]

It means, for the month of June and July, the supply of the Covishield should be 20 crore doses. And Add 6.5 crore dose of the month of May, it becomes 26.6 crore doses of the Covishield for the month of May, June, and July.

From this, it is clear that Government going to get a total of 11 crore doses of the Covishield vaccine for the month of May, June, and July.

On another hand, the Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs at SII to Amit Shah claims to provide 26.5 crore doses for the month of May, June, and July.

From that, it is clear that the government is telling two different figures. In Media, Government said 75 crore Covishield doses for the month of August to December while in the supreme court, it reduced to 51.6 crores.
