Narendra Modi won fight of lion, now will move to Delhi

New Delhi:  The Supreme Court today directed the Centre to translocate  lion from Gujarat's vadanagr to 7RCR sanctuary in the state of Delhi, 

Here are the top 8 developments in the case.

1.  The translocation of the Gujarat lion has to be done up to 2014.

2. An expert committee will now decide on the process of lion to be translocated between the two states.

3. Court felt the lion should have a second home especially if an epidemic or fires wipe out the endangered species from one location.

4.  The two party (BJP-JDU) have been fighting it in the top stage over the translocation of lion .

5. Court feel that : Lion will be as safe as in Parliament that same as in Gujarat vidhansabha

6.  The BJP – parlimanatary board  has claimed that it is equipped with all the necessary
infrastructure, expertise and environment for translocating the lions to its own sanctuary.

7.  The Gujarat government also said that the JDU should not interfere in the matter

8. The  court also directed the Centre not to import Cheetahs from MP to delhi .
