Unused Brahmastra of India which call - No first use policy
( No first use policy that - India
declare not to attack with the nuclear weapon to the any state , Indian nuclear
weapons are just to reply the nuclear attack)
Since last decade India stuck in to vicious cycle of the - Pakistan attack > Indian think about strong reply > Pakistani statement of their being nuclear state > Indian step back.
The whole world aware about this Cycle.
Indian strategist also look like helpless that does not mean that our
policy makers have not option available. The Problem is that, Strategist bind
to think within the Defensive outlook.
When Modiji became PM there was reports
in media that government may over think about the "No first use"
policy. But due to the same defensive outlook thinking , Govt. reject all those
media report. Modi Govt was on right track but they went to wrong road and try
to opt the issue of balochistan to break this cycle. This is also a good policy
option but little costly then what I am suggesting here.
In Gujarati , It's said that "A
good businessman is that who do business on some other's capital and
Risk". Likewise a good diplomacy is that "you can defeat enemy while
spending minimal resources.
Now come to the issue of the "No
first use" . China policy that "no fist use on non nuclear
state" , which mean china keep the option of the nuclear attack on India
which is nuclear state. Pakistan have not any declare nuclear policy so,
Pakistan also keep open the option of the nuclear attack.
Look , Nuclear weapons are never mean for the war , It's a showpiece weapons which only purpose is the deterrence. It's quite complex to understand the concept of the "deterrence" for common man but one can easily understand for the behaviour of North Korea. North Korea doing the annual nuclear test just to keep the enemy far from him.
Now, the question may arise that why
India stick to the “No fist policy” ? Its corollary to the Indian soft policy
posture. It legitimate the Indian deterrence capability. It Also as per the
Indian policy of the nuclear disarmament . So on an on.
But, It’s high time for the India to
stick this policy. If India Leave this policy what are the benefits to India :-
- Most Importantly it will help our own
strategist to come out form the defensive attitude and will break the phobia
link to aggressive behavior.
- Why this is best time ? – Do you
remember why the Indian economy sunk after the 1974 cause foreign power impose
the economic restriction after the pokharan 1. But Indian economy grow highest
after the 1998 pokharan 2 though there was same economic sanction.
The Difference was due to that in 1998 , Indian economy was the best place to invest. People across the globe investing our telecom and infra sector. Today we are the world fastest economy and also more capable in other sphere as well than in 1998. - Will Disturb the sleep of the Pakistani
establishment. It also may increase public pressure
on Government to left the anti India campaign as fear
of nuclear weapon attack is direct link to the survival of people.
- Will help highest to isolate the
Pakistan in Global fraternity. There will be all round pressure on Pakistan to
become good boy in global politics.
- Will bind the global players to think differently on Indian issues. India Seeking seat in UNSC permanent , Entry in NSG , Reforms in Global financial institutions etc.
So, By just Amending the One line of
the nuclear policy , India can make significant difference. And I am quite sure
that Current strategist establishment surely debating the issue and soon opt
out. Mr.Doval aggression and influence in government hide to none. In addition
Foreign secretary is also Ph.D in the nuclear diplomacy.
