PM Modi's Strategy of the Lowdown is failed - Here is Data

Here is the part of the Speech of the PM Modi Address to the nation on the date 24th March 2020. In this speech, By these words, he proposed the Lockdown strategy.

Friends, 

It took 67 days for the count of people infected with Corona to reach the 1st one lakh all over the world.

After this, it took only 11 days for another one lakh people to get infected.

Think, it took 67 days for it to infect one lakh people at first, but only 11 days to reach a total of two lakh people.

This is even more alarming that it took only 4 days for this disease to reach three lakh people from the count of two lakh.

You can imagine how rapidly Coronavirus spreads.

Once it begins to spread, it is very difficult to contain it.

Friends,

This is the reason that situation became uncontrollable when Coronavirus started spreading in countries such as China, US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Iran.

Also remember, whether it is Italy or US, the healthcare services in these countries are considered to be among the best in the world. Despite this, these countries have not been able to contain the impact of Corona. The question at hand is, where does one see a ray of hope in this situation? What is the solution, what are the options?

The ray of hope to combat Corona comes from the experiences of those countries that have been able to contain Corona to some extent.

Citizens of these countries have not stepped out of their homes for weeks. Citizen of these countries have fully adhered to the government rules and hence, these countries now are heading towards overcoming this pandemic.

We should also accept that this is the only way before us. We must not step outside our homes. Whatever happens, we have to stay indoors. We can save ourselves from Corona only if we do not cross Lakshman Rekha of our homes. We have to stop the spread of this pandemic and break the chain of the infection. "

It has been 50 days of the Lockdown. Let we analysed the conditions to conclude whether the lockdown succeeds or failed.

PM Modi Talked about the World which population is nearly 700 Crore. Indian Population is 125 Cr. So our share is 17.85% of the global population. Let say18%.

PM Modi Talked took the 1 lakh cases as a reference to measure the spread of the coronavirus. i.e. 1 lakh, 2 lakh, 3 lakh etc.

We are 18% of the global population, So let me take 18,000 cases as reference. 18k, 36k, 54 k etc.

1st Case - 30th January

18,000th case - 20th April

( 1 to 18,0000 in 79 days )

36,000th case - 2nd May

( 18k to 36 k in 11 days)

54,000th case - 7th May

(36 k to 54k in 5 days) 

PM Modi asked us to live within the Laxmanrekha of the Home as he doesn’t want to repeat the situation what happened in Italy and USA to India.

Now let compare what Modi wants to avert and what happened in India

Analysis of Gujarat

Now let me Compare with What PM Modi want to avert and What happened in His and My Home State Gujarat.

Gujarat Total the population is 6 crore, Means 0.85% of the global population. Let say 1% of the global population lives in Gujarat.

So, PM Modi took reference as 1 lakh case, I am taking 1,000 cases as the Reference number.

1st Case - 18th march

1000th Case - 18th April

(1 to 1000 case in 31 days)

2000th Case - 22nd April

(1000 to 2000 case in 4 days )

3000th case- 28th April

( 2000 to 3000 case in 6 days) 

Now let compare what Modi wants to avert and what happened in Gujarat.

Keep these two things in mind while reading this data

1. Corona reached to India later than other countries - So we have more time to prepare. 

2. We did lesser test than many states of the world did . (On 8th may Total test done in the world is 2 Crore plus. So as per this we must have done 36 lakh tests but we did some 14 lakh only)

Even without considering these two things (Which favours Indian number), Just focus on what Modi ji wants to avert with lockdown strategy and What happened in Lockdown.

• Without Lockdown, World reached to 1st reference In 67 days. Under lockdown, India took 79 days but Gujarat reached that to in just 31 days.
