Indian Express tweet - Almost every household in India now has access to tap water, says PM Modi Indian Express Article - Almost every household in India now has access to tap water, says PM Modi Indian Express report on 2 nd  October event of the Prime minister’s interaction with Gram Panchayats and Pani Samitis on Jal Jeevan Mission. Here Prime Minister said - "Since the launch of the Jal Jeevan Mission in 2019, five crore households have water connections now. Today, water is reaching every household in 1.25 lakh villages of about 80 districts of the country"  Interestingly, the Indian express article itself mention that the Prime minister have said so. When Indian express knew that PM talked about the completion of the water supply connection in 80 district, how can they post headline which says "Every household in India has access of the tap water"?  I think Indian express might have forget that India have more than 700 district and not 80 district about whic...

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Castes Students - Educating to Empower

Education is the glue that makes the society cohesive and helps in the formation of its paradigms. Never before has education acquired such dominant a role in shaping of the Indian society as in today’s era. Education has very well played the role of a Great Liberator. It has become an instrument of empowerment. Serving as the biggest leveler of the society since 1944, the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Castes Students present...

Tradition says that it is the oldest traditional treatment system generated from Dravidian culture.   Palm leaf manuscripts say that the Siddha system was first described by Lord Shiva to his wife Parvathy.   Parvathy explained all this knowledge to her son Lord Muruga. He transferred the whole gamut of his knowledge to his principal disciple, the august sage Agasthya. Agasthya taught 18 Siddhars and they spread this knowledge among human beings. The word Siddha is derived from the term Siddhi that roughly means the attainment of a specialized ability. The term also refers to the eight supernatural powers, the attainment of which is one of the ultimate aims of human endeavor.  Those who attained or achieved the above said powers are known as Siddhars. There were 18 important Siddhars in o...
