History of the fall down of the USSR empire trace back to the formation of the USSR itself. Fall of the USSR considered as the most significant event of the Modern global history. The more interesting part is that each one have the own perspective on the reason behind the fall of the USSR. In last one year, I came across many and following are the some which I can keep in my mind. 

Strategic :-  USA’s Starwar campaign forces USSR to increase her military campaign which ruin the USSR economy and finally Gorbachev have to open economy.

Ethical :- Bureaucracy of the USSR was the insensitive. Officers treated the people in inhuman manner.

Geopolitics :- USSR involvement in the Afghanistan in the 1979 proved disaster. USA backed the locals mujahidin and which drew the Afghanistan in the civil was condition. USSR had to pay price for the 10 years of the bloody civil war.

Oil Politics :- USSR earned millions off the dollar through the oil export. Instead of investing it in the infrastructure and social sector , USSR spend it in the foreign adventures and finally became the victim of the dutch disease.

Political :- Gorbachev adopted the liberal political policies. He allowed the election at the local level. Fall of the Berlin wall etc.
