Government is to cancel the licence of the e-Commerce companies not declaring the Diwali sale
FN Bureau: Last year govt took heavy action
on the NGO those working against the interest of the India. This year it’s the
turn of the e-commerce websites.
Next
Sunday is Diwali and most of the e-commerce companies carried out the intensive
sale this week. But there are a few who have not declared any sale yet. As per
Faking news sources, in an immediate meeting govt decided to call the CEOs of
such companies and asked for the clarification over the matter. However, many
failed to provide a convincing reason and hence, govt has decided to
cancel their licences.
When
FN reporter asked about this strong step, a senior minister said, “Not
declaring Diwali sale is against our ongoing policy of Digital India,
Make In India and ease of doing business. We are giving tax exception to
companies for expanding the market and they doing contrary to that. Our action
is in public interest”.
