First of all we have to understand the mean of the REPUBLIC – It’s mean : “ a group with a certain equality between its members. ” We celebrate republic day as Our Constitution of Independent India implemented on 26 th  January 1950. Our Constitution Made by the one of the best brains and best human being on this earth. Very few Indian Aware about the fact that Our Independence movement actually start not with aim To get Independence but To Get the Equality In rights with British in the Law. So, the 15 th   August was the just mean not end , End was the 26 th   jan of 1950 of Our Independence movement. It’s said that on 15 th   august we got Independence and on 26 th   Jan we Get Responsibility. I have not a slight hesitation to say that we brilliantly Success to Maintain the Independence and Drastically failed to Maintain the Republic character . The Constitution of India not only grants equality to women but also empowers the State to adopt measures of positive discrimination in favour of women for neutralizing the cumulative socio economic, education and political disadvantages faced by them.
